It all started with a polo
About ten years ago, when I was working in architectural renderings, I wanted to solve a simple problem. I needed a professional, approachable uniform—a nice polo with my logo. Nothing fancy, just something polished and on-brand.
I quickly became frustrated with what I found. Most companies charged a $150 setup fee and required a minimum order of 50 shirts. I didn’t need that many shirts, and I didn’t want to spend that much money—even if skipping laundry for a month sounded tempting.
So I decided to create my own solution. I bought an embroidery machine and started making custom apparel for small business owners—people who want quality branding without the extra cost, pressure, or waste.
Since then, The Design Corner has grown into a full-service resource for businesses and organizations, helping them bring their brand to life through custom products, thoughtful campaigns, and strategic marketing guidance.
